Fran and Drew's rustic Cambridge barn wedding is a David Wedding Photography
featured wedding. A true marriage love story at the Granary Estates
The bride and groom to be both prepared themselves in the onsite cottages, with their respective parties. There were expected nerves, but nothing a beer (or two) and a glass of fizz couldn't solve and once ready, Fran presented herself to her emotional father, who struggled to hold back the tears. She was looking incredible, and more than ready to say, "I do."
It was a short walk from the cottages to the barn in glorious summer sunshine. Drew was waiting nervously at the end of the aisle, eager to see his bride. She didn't disappoint, and the groom and his guests watched in awe as she was lead down the centre of the barn by her proud dad. There were more laughs and tears throughout the marriage ceremony, with some personal vows from the couple and a few heartfelt readings from a selection of their guests. In the end, the couple eventually tie the knot and were cheered outside by their delighted friends and family.
The beautiful summer sunshine allowed guests to enjoy a drink and canape in the stunning courtyard at the Granary Estates. This gave me the opportunity to explore the vast grounds and cornfields with the newly-weds. Some insanely stunning and natural photographs were captured along the way. It was so nice for the couple to get away and take everything in, and just appreciate one and other. Some group photographs followed along with speeches, before their wedding breakfast was served.
Guests filtered back outside to enjoy some lawn games and toast marshmallows. There was a spectacular golden sunset, which again, offered the chance for more photographs and some best of the day. Fran and Drew's day was signed off with a group confetti guard of honour, the perfect end to what was a really awesome day.
